A rare Flemish carved walnut partly gilded mirror frame.
Antwerp, second half 16th century.
Dimensions : 79 x 47 cm.
The carved strapwork of this mirror is inspired to the designs by Hans Vredeman de Vries (1527-c1606) and different Antwerp goldsmiths and sculptors such as Cornelis Floris (1513-1575), Jacob Floris de Vriendt and others.
